Allocate at least 4gb of RAM for 1.12.2 and below or 6gb of RAM for 1.15.2 and above with 8gb being the maximum recommended for Minecraft.

If the game fails to launch you may not have enough RAM allocated (or enough installed on your PC to run the mod).Once the modpack has finished installing press ‘play’ and enter your Minecraft credentials if it is your first time using the launcher.

Download Optifine for the version of Minecraft that you are playing and drop it into your mods folder (you can right click the profile you just installed and click on the mods folder button to open it).
